Uprooted and planted in an old house in the mountains with a grave hidden in the hollyhocks, Stacy Williams wakes before dawn to the plaintive sound of weeping. The old house has an unsettled, disturbing past, so Stacy wants to go back home to California, back to the beach, the palm trees and her friends. There are many reasons to leave, doors slamming shut, voices, shadows, fingers tapping at her bedroom window... but Stacy has one very good reason to stay, and his name is Matt Stanton.

This was my situation 7 years ago except I accepted it and was able to be the adult when both my parents were acting like children. It sucked but I knew it was for the best that they split.

I live in a small country town and there is literally nothing to do here. I moved to a town near Tampa for a short time but we had to moves back. I absolutely hate it here.

Héll yeah! Me too! Although I've been stuck living in New York the last couple years, I love and miss home and San Diego's usually awesome weather

Ahaha, I can totally relate to her right now. When my parents take us on long trips, the only time we stop seems to be when we eat. After we'd eat, back on the road we go. I found it odd.
