With the premiere of his Netflix original series, newly verified Instagram account, and his return to college to endure sophomore year with his best friend, Griffin Alvarado should be on cloud nine. However, after learning that his online summer fling was nothing but a catfish plot, he's reluctant to find happiness in anything ever again. When Griffin meets a girl in his ARTHIST II class with the face used to catfish him, he sees this as a hidden opportunity to get some closure. A chance arises to separate his feelings from the constant reminder of heartbreak everytime he looks at her face when Griffin is assigned to create a project based on romanticism art.

No soul on campus appreciates art as much as Anahid Mabele. Without fail, she is always seen supporting all the concerts, exhibitions, and plays, making her well liked on campus. As someone who appreciates art, Anahid allows a cute boy in her ARTHIST II class to take her on dates for a project over romanticism without hesitation. The more time she spends with Griffin, the longer Anahid must learn to understand her budding feelings.

Cover art by @LNRoberts1 College student, Aveen Sullivan, has a huge crush on the strapping rugby player, Jamal Jean-Pierre. They meet at a college dorm party the last week of her freshman year, and she's certain he likes her too. He's flirty and fun, and at the end of the night, he asks for her phone number. You don't do that if you're not interested, right? But after Aveen goes home for her summer break, she never hears back from Jamal. And to make matters worse, he turns up on her radar again, when her best friend, Jenna, texts her that she's dating a new guy from her summer internship, and his name is Jamal Jean-Pierre! With the new semester just starting, Aveen must now pretend that she isn't bothered by seeing her crush and her best friend together, but Jamal keeps popping up everywhere: in her History class, at her part-time job, in the cafeteria, and pretty much everywhere else. And unless she's reading things the wrong way, he still seems to be flirting with her. Confused and wondering whether Jamal is just a rake, Aveen makes a concerted effort to move on. However, when Jenna and Jamal talk Aveen into helping them prepare for a TV game show with a trip for two to Miami as the Grand Prize, Aveen has had enough. But Jenna and Jamal won't take no for an answer. Instead, they insist on setting Aveen up with their mutual friend Fred, so that Aveen and Fred can compete as well. It turns out that Fred has an interesting secret, but he's up for a free trip to Miami, so he agrees to fake date Aveen to see if they can win. But there's something else that Fred knows, and it's about Jamal's true feelings for Aveen and a family tragedy that has left him heartbroken and fragile. This new information changes everything, and Aveen has to decide what to do. Should she trust her instincts, pursue Jamal, and risk losing her best friend, or should she move on and quietly try to mend her broken heart?

Sariah's first year at Clark University is supposed to be about new beginnings, independence, and finding her path. But as she steps into the unknown, she finds herself caught between the expectations of who she *should* be and the person she's beginning to uncover beneath the surface. Her journey of self-discovery takes an unexpected turn when she meets Mercedes, her eclectic, Afrocentric, crystal-loving roommate who introduces Sariah to a side of her culture she's never fully explored. Mercedes' unapologetic embrace of her black roots and spiritual practices forces Sariah to confront the parts of her identity she's kept hidden or ignored, opening her eyes to a deeper connection to her culture. At the same time, Sariah finds herself paired with Drew, a mysterious and artistic classmate, for a challenging art project. Initially, Drew seems like just another classmate-but as their collaboration deepens, Sariah begins to see him in a different light. With Drew, she finds herself questioning more than just her art; she begins to wonder if she's ready to open her heart and take a leap into something more than just a creative partnership. Sariah navigates the messy, beautiful, and transformative process of learning who she really is, embracing her culture, and discovering that sometimes, the path to self-awareness is more about the people we meet than the answers we seek. A tale of friendship, love, and self-empowerment, this coming-of-age story is a celebration of what it means to find your roots while forging your own identity.
