On the surface, data science and web development look like an unlikely pair to draw comparisons to one another. After all, what has the science of analyzing and interpreting data got to do with developing images and content on websites, based on the client's requirements?
Yes, data science and web development are far from congenital twins. They can be likened to not even siblings or cousins, but more to neighbors.
Let us get going then, on how data science is different from web development:
Characteristics: A combination of technology, algorithms and statistics make up data science, which is all used to analyze data. On the other hand, web development is mainly about putting in the right design elements through tools and technologies such as html, CSS, etc. to make the website carry out its functions as the face of the organization.
We talked about the convergence between the two. Now, here is where this happens: once an organization's creative and technological brains create a functional and well-designed website, data science takes over. As businesses become more E-based, data science comes in to analyze the various aspects of the website to help deliver results for the organization.
Nature of work: A web developer uses languages such as html, JavaScript, CSS, etc. to develop websites. All the elements of a website, such as UI, user friendliness, layouts, frameworks, etc., have to be made to work together in the right fashion and proportion. So, this involves not only the use of technology, but also a lot of creativity. It also involves coordinating closely with copywriters, content writers, coders, marketers, and so on, so that the website drives business and is very effective from all perspectives.

Due to my dyslexia there are grammar/editing errors from time to time. I am hard at work trying to polish the book as I do my big round of editing prior to publishing online. My experience in posting online is not great, so please be mindful that there may be tweaks to format and the like. WARNING, this story contains gore, violence, body horror, suicidal thoughts, swearing, and various other sensitive subjects.

Eighty thousand years into the future, Earth is no more. This world is now called Lokar-a realm of strangeness, where humans struggle to survive alongside elves, orcs, goblins, vampires, merfolk, and dragons. Born from the genetic-engineering science of our present age, these species now fight to rule a world of sword and sorcery, war and blood. But Lokar's story is more than this. In orbit, the Sky People dwell-a breakaway civilization from humanity's forgotten past. Mythical and unseen, save for the drifting lights of their stations in the night sky, their name is whispered in reverence and fear. To most, they are only a legend. Until the sky falls. When a steel ship crashes onto Lokar, myth becomes reality. From the wreckage emerges Morse, a girl named with fire-orange eyes, bearing secrets as ancient as Lokar itself. Drawn by adventure, a young Lokari named Jason must join forces with this enigmatic fire-eyed girl to uncover the mysteries of their intertwined pasts and face a destiny neither could have imagined. The fate of Lokar and the stars hangs by a thread. As the veil between legend and history tears away, a truth long buried will rise to shape a future yet unwritten. These secrets have been whispered for millennia. Now, Lokar must listen. ------- Note: I publish a chapter 3 times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I also do all of my own art, which you can see in each chapter. If you'd like to see more art, especially the stuff I can't publish here (*wink wink*), you can find that on my Patreon. I believe in world-building and rich characters. I also believe in big ideas. There is a bit of steamy interaction between the characters, but it's not the main focus!
