The Winter Soldier has been working for HYDRA for years. He was their best assassin, a true ghost story, until he hears wind of his soulmate for the first time.

As he grows more distracted by the rumours he hears, HYDRA plans on killing her, intent on breaking their soul bond in order to keep their loyal assassin just that - loyal to them, and them alone.

But the Winter Soldier has other plans. He's been keeping tabs on her the moment he discovered her existence, watching her from the sidelines. And even though he may fear he cannot feel love, that doesn't stop him from protecting his soulmate with his life, when her own is placed at risk.
