Fenn is a vampire - a fragile, a four-hundred-year-old, socially inept vampire with the mind and heart of a teenage boy and a love for pretty things and butterflies.

For centuries, he existed as a prisoner of his own mind; but healed and whole at last, he wishes to learn everything there is to know about the modern world... by attending high school.

When his 'fathers,' Ari and Soren, reluctantly agree, Fenn embarks on a journey of friendship and discovery, but from the very first day, it's clear that leaving the supernatural at home will be harder than he thought.

With a sweet jock vying for his heart, a mysterious vampire-hunter refusing to be his friend, and a murderous witch on the loose, high school may be more of a challenge than Fenn bargained for.
