To Skaikru, she was known as Kota. To anyone else, she was known as Dakoda kom Trikru, Lincoln's younger sister. Having Lincoln as an older brother meant that she always felt overprotected growing up. But what people underestimated about her as she got older, was her strength and capabilities. So, when the Sky People land on the ground, she takes this as an opportunity to show her worth towards her commander.

What Dakota didn't know, was that there was a girl among the Sky People, who she'd end up befriending. Once they meet, everything changes as their relationship blossoms and Dakota starts to wonder where her loyalties actually lie.
