In the far future, Humanity has fallen far from grace. They are spoken of in only tales and whispers, they are the boogeymen that keep the children in line. They are the monsters in your closet in the dead of night. They aren't supposed to exist, but that does not stop the galactic community from using them in tales, myths, and legends. At least, that's how it's supposed to be. A lone man is awoken from a deep slumber, only to find himself submerged in a tank of green goo and studied like a lab rat. Beyond his cage of silence, he can see two figures. Both appear to be human, but are not. They have animal-like traits, and certain words they use are understandable to him - yet others are not. Why is he here? Why is he locked away? What the hell does Saren'Veit mean? He has to start somewhere, and this might as well be it. Follow Cedric as he attempts to crawl his way through this unseen future to uncover his past, and deals with an entire galaxy seeing him as a monstrosity of nature - that is if they even believe he exists.
