    Eons ago, the Shadow was defeated and cast back into the Pit. But now, something is again stirring in the dark places of the world. An ancient power awakens to oppose the darkness, but if the light is to win, armies must gather, and champions rise. Otherwise, the world will be plunged into eternal darkness.
    
    Oblivious to the growing danger, three young adults struggle to find their place in the world: VALANT, the orphaned blacksmith's apprentice; MEIKA, the outcast girl with a talent for magic; and DARYA, the landowner's daughter who dreams of adventure.
    
    The trio will be thrust into a world they thought only existed in legends and ballads. Village life will soon be the least of their concerns as they travel across an increasingly dangerous land to deliver a message that could decide the outcome of the coming war against an ancient evil.All Rights Reserved
