Staring down at the piece of laminated plastic in his hands; snow white teeth stretched as wide as it could be with happy lines formed under his dark eye bags. He couldn't believe it. After those gruesome hours of training of not only his quirk (is it really mine if it was given?), but his body as well, he was finally able to achieve his first goal.

Or would he call it his third?

Stumbling through his hero journey, Midoriya needs to figure a few things out. Will he figure those things out with someone he had always interacted with?

While he keeps all of the pain to himself, and refuses to share with the others what happened, he found himself driving into a self-inflicted depression. When he is found close to death, all of the secrets come undone and everyone find out about his loss and inner demons. Will they be able to help him overcome his losses? Or is our favorite Green haired hero in training going to continue suffering alone while drowning himself in a sea of his sorrows?
