A perfect sunset. A perfect evening. A perfect family. Twenty years ago. Now, all Eru can do is look to the past, wonder how it became his present, and try to give his sister a future in whatever way he can. ** This is not actually a short story. Well, it sort of is. It is a variation of Chapter Two of my book "Silver Sunsets". It is about 75% the same, about 5% Chapter One of that story, and 20% its own thing, but written more as a small standalone story or perhaps to get someone interested in "Silver Sunsets". Look at it as you will. But I hope you enjoy it! Any feedback / constructive criticism is welcome!
