All The Broken People
Mikayla is a young teen entering her Sophomore year in highschool. Her pain has always been something she dealt with, something that she just lived with. The only goodness she ever knew was what her two best friends showed her. Her parents have given up and now it seems like no one can really do anything to change her or her life.
Then came Flick. Flick, aka Ethan, comes from Texas running from a group of testosterone-pumped boys from his hometown. He moves to Winston and decides to sit with Mikayla and her friends at lunch the first day of school, probably the most influential decision he makes.
Together, these two people's tales intertwine into a heartwrenching story about the meaning of love, life, and why we all are even here. Their lives are changed and their hearts are too as they realize who they are, who they want to be, and who they can be. This is a truly raw story about people and life and how one choice made such a huge difference.
This book is a book about depression awareness, self-harm awareness, and suicide awareness. If you can't handle these topics, then don't read it. But remember, the people who are going through this don't have a choice. They can't just stop reading. In other words, please read this. *TRIGGER WARNING*
I will put warnings in the beginning of chapters that are especially triggering.
