The Blood Bound Chronicles Book One: Blood B...
I felt myself being dragged out from under the bed by long gorilla arms and kicked out hoping to hit his face, I tugged my shirt down just as Axe pulled me out from under the bed and onto his legs.
"Hi," Axe grinned down at me as the smell of strawberries invaded my senses.
"You're a terrible person and I hate you." I sighed leaning back against my bed.
Axe leaned closer to me and I narrowed my eyes at him, the smell of strawberries was almost overwhelming as his lips came towards me.
"Okay I'm getting ready, I'm getting ready!" I stammered half crawling half falling away from him. ~
Humans have lived among us for centuries now; they look like us... well actually not really. They act like us... well no they actually don't, it would be a little frightening if they did I mean they're human right? As long as there have been children there have been stories of the bogey man or monsters under the bed. For us that monster is called Van Helsing and he's not just a story.
Violet Drani always wanted to be a detective but one phone call changes her life and she ends up back at her old school as a student teacher. If being a student teacher wasn't hard enough, I mean you're not quite a teacher but not really a student anymore, factor in that the school is full of Vampires and Violet is from a clan of mind readers.
Violet can't help but wonder why only fourteen student teachers were chosen this year and why Dracula suddenly stopped teaching classes. Aside from mysteriously stopping his classes and hardly being around something seems different about the Count.
Amongst all of this Violet must navigate other clans and strange feelings she's never felt before for a man she never thought she could fall for. Being a student teacher never seemed like something she would actually be into.
Until someone disappears and suddenly it's up to Vi to find them, can she find out what's going on or will they be lost forever?
