Being a baddass hunter has its perks. You could shoot an arrow or with a gun at animals, or even people, without getting in jail. Plus, you also looked flawless in leather.
But it also means you don't trust anybody. And I mean ANYbody. You were a lot alone, looking for your pray and hoping to find danger so you finally had something to do. But that same danger could also mean the end of your existance.
That was the least fun part of the job.
Joan knew everything about that danger, werewolves to be exact. They could kill you in seconds, and that's what happend to her family.
She was on her own now, no friends, no family. Only herself and her mission:
Kill the beast that took away her family and most of all,
her ability to care about anybody else.
