You're Just a Girl - Logicality
"Okay! Everyone! Boys on one side and Girls on the other!" The gym teacher, Mrs. Finn, called, urging the boys to one side.
I just stood there, my chocolate brown eyes whizzing to both sides of the gym, my hands fidgeting nervously. Eventually, I walk briskly to the 'boys' side of the gym, keeping my head down.
"Uh, Payton?" Mrs. Finn asked, I wince as she used my dead name.
"Yes?" I reply, looking up at her, she was actually super tall, so I had to tilt my head to about a 75 degree angle to meet her gaze.
"Why are you on the boy's side? Get over there." She points to the 'girls' side.
"Um. I'm fine here, thank you." I say, propping myself up against the wall.
I winced again, but stood my ground. I am not a girl. I am Patton Foster.
