"I'm not sure if this decision to become a mail-order bride is such a wise idea for me. Granted, it would solve some of my issues. Issues that run from the lines of protecting my two-year-old daughter, Katie. She lost her father in circumstances I'd rather not explain. Needless to say, She needs a father and whether I like to or not admit, I need a husband. My savings are almost gone, and because of the loan that my husband took from this man this mob boss, I am left to deal with his problem.

Maybe it is okay for me to Take A Chance On Finding Love

(The full version of this book is available on Webnovel!) "Do you see this?" I held up a card between my fingers. Jason looked at the card, then back at me, confusion clear as day in his eyes. "What is this?" "A wild card, obviously," he shrugged, looking like he was about to tell me to get to the point. All in due time. "Obviously," my smile probably looked sarcastic, like I was making fun of him. Jason had no business being fussy with the position he was in. "Take a look at your surroundings, my love. The situation you find yourself in is less than ideal, and I'm the only one who can save you," I was done being the hurt one. The one who was always left behind. "Now tell me again. What is this?" "A wild card." "This is what I am to you right now," I put the card down on the table and slid it towards him. "And whether it wins or loses the game for you is your move." ~°~°~°~°~°~ An accidental marriage. A drunken mistake, or a premeditated plan for revenge? Amaria doesn't know what to make of her new situation, and due to unforeseen circumstances, she is trapped. Forced to accept her fate until the time is right, a typically reserved executive finds herself at a crossroad between following logic, and giving in to her bleeding heart. Well, it's up to him to decide what he'll do with this new mess he's stuck in.

"I did try to ask nicely and multiple times, I might add. The time for being nice has come to an end since it doesn't seem to work with you." He passed by the table and stepped down. There weren't many places for her to hide in here but the creature did tell him Amelia came into this room. "Please come out and talk to me." He waited a beat for a response but he didn't get one. "Fine, let me tell you a story. I used to be able to see the creatures clearly but an accident happened when I was younger that damaged one of my eyes. Now they're just blurry to me. But you . . . you can see them clearly and see rare objects. I want you to join me. Be my eyes." He waited again for a few moments for a response he still didn't receive. A thought occurred to him. What if she was hoping that he'd just leave the room? He chuckled quietly to himself in amusement. "I'm not going anywhere. But you know what? It's fine if you decline my offer again. Just know that if you don't come with me, you could come home to find that your parents are dead because of a work accident or some other natural cause. You wouldn't want that would you?" He paused just one more time and began speaking again. "If you come with me today, your parents won't have to die. I can keep them safe. If you don't give me an answer, I'll have my creature kill your parents now and I'll still take you. Do you want dead parents or living parents? It's your choice." Amelia came out of the bay window seat compartment. She was trying to hide her fear and anger. She didn't care what happened to her but she didn't want her parents to die because of her. She took a deep breath. "Fine . . . I'll come with you." He smiled smugly, "Smart choice. There's no need to be afraid of me. Your parents are safe now and I won't hurt you." "It's because you need me for my abilities." She said more of a fact than a question. She knew he wouldn't kill her because he needed her. "Correct. Now, let's tell your parents the good news."

Quitting her old job as it was getting her nowhere in life, she stumbles across Wilson Company and to her surprise gets the job. What she didn't expect was that she would become the secretary of the heir, William's secretary. He is not fun to be around. But when Sophia comes along, his entire world changes. He experiences the forbidden feelings he thought he'll never experience and is unable to handle those feelings. To top that, Sophia's father hate rich men like William and decides to arrange her marriage with someone else, when he finds out that Sophia is working for William. This is definitely going to cause a lot of drama in their life as Wilson family doesn't go quietly into the night. Not to forget William's past. Many situations arises where William has to choose between his sister and Sophia, creating a series of problems. So, how will this affect William and Sophia's not-so-perfect story? Read to find out.
