Birds of a Feather
"Birds of a feather flock together."
Medli was happy with her life as a Sage. Ganondorf was defeated, and therefore, she didn't have to stay in the damp graveyard of a Temple. No, instead she got to sail with Tetra and her pirates every once in a while, but most of her time was spent on Dragon Roost Island, her hometown, being the Great Valoo's assistant and catering to his needs.
So when, one night, she felt the sudden urge to pull out her harp and play a song unknown to her, like the goddesses were pushing her to, she succumbed to the urge and took out her golden instrument. Fingers ghosting over the correct strings, she played the long, solemn song. After it was finished, it felt like she was being pulled from the inside out, it was as if she was being pulled across the fields of space, reaching the edges of the universe by being stretched out.
And, in a way, she was.
But when she woke up to falling from the sky, and got caught by a blue feathered, humanoid bird, it was completely justified when she screamed.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own the Legend of Zelda! ;)
WARNING: No ships, except for implied Zelink/Telink. But I want this story to be open to anyone, so it won't be explicit (except for maybe the prologue but that's filler) and you can interpret it anyway you want! Hope you enjoy! :)
WARNING #2.0: Revali's a little (a lot) OOC in this, and I tried to make him softer towards Medli. I feel like he has a soft spot towards young Rito :)
