Joaquín Morales is a young boy who is struggling to find the balance of life in an urban area. Being Hispanic and African American, he often feels that he has to prove himself to fully be accepted by the black community. Growing up in his neighborhood, Joaquín is still treated like the common minority and will find himself in situations that are hard to get out of.
