You may say the life of Faye Furlock is an easy one; rich parents, an average on the social scale, sky-high grades.
But that's where the benefits end.
Her parents are too strict and controlling to let Faye make any real decisions that should be hers to make, her best friend forever went missing in her second year of high school, and Faye has no other friends or siblings she could even vent to anymore.
Her life is like a storybook, she likes to think. It's set, fixated, and rolling right on course like it was meant to. After all, she has a school and career picked out for her despite how much she despises both choices.
But what would happen if something derailed that train from its current destination? What if SOMEONE were to make an alteration to this 'supposed future' and opened Faye's eyes to some of the dirty secrets her parents and world have been sheltering her from all this time?

They're not so different from us through the scars they bare and the drive they have to make their lives as stress-free and as happy as they possibly can. They may have a different approach to life, but our bodies all contain the same functioning parts.

He and his friends may not be good...
But they may just be the greatest thing that's ever happened to her.
