A/N: The way I see it, every God has their own champion. A creature of some form or other who is stronger than many others. In Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus; Zeus has Jason Grace, Poseidon has Percy Jackson, obviously, Artemis has Thalia as her leader for the Hunters. In my books, Hades has his Lieutenant and daughter, Rose Phillips who actually is as powerful as Percy and Jason but she just knows more about what her powers can do whereas Percy, Jason and Thalia haven't explored their powers as much. In The Lost Hero, Thalia didn't know she could fly until Jason told her he could. Percy didn't know he could heal himself until his dad told him to put his hand in the water as it would give him power. Even Athena has Annabeth Chase who was chosen to retrieve the Athena Parthenos.
The point I'm getting at is that someone ages ago pointed out that people who write these kind of books make their own character the most powerful character in the book when this is simply not true. Hades, despite having both Nico and Hazel, needed to name a Lieutenant and in my book I chose my character to fulfil the role.
If anyone has any disagreement, private message me your thoughts and don't clutter up my book with your comments on how I'm making my character the best out of the entire Percy Jackson/ Heroes of Olympus series.
