" You're going to die at the end of the month," she sang impassively." Violently, alone and Scared."
Simon was known as Agent X, a top tier spy. He could kill at least fifteen bodies in under thirty seconds. As he sat across the illusive serial killer, he thought about snapping her neck. He wouldn't have even bothered to come to this interrogation if not for his sister in law. Her best friend had been attacked and the message that he had been given one was one he couldn't simply ignore.
If he put his mind to it he could solved the case that the police failed to crack in under a week. Their incompetence was nothing new. He didn't care who she was working for. Her life to him could end at the snap of a finger. In a way he was impressed, the murders always occurred as she stated. The weapon, the place, the time and the deaths; none of her words changed. Yet there was never any evidence to tie her to it. The only way they knew she did it was her words.
"You are going to die, Simon Giovanetti." She called him by a name that only a few people knew. For a murderer, her eyes were filled with tears and as the last words left her mouth, she sobbed."Believe it or not, it won't change anything."
