The God of Destruction's Fantasy World

Godzilla Sr. passes, giving the radiation stored in his body to his son. As he melts, he watches as his son rises from the rubble as an adult, and roars into the sky, saying goodbye to his only child. But soon he wakes up in a forest, blinded by the sunlight. Where was he? And why did he hear screaming?
