Angelica Velazquez By AngelicaGabriela1991 Completed

Evelyn Saunders aka Eve is a typical nineteen year old whose life is turned upside down the day she’s diagnosed with cancer. She loses all hope in life and resigns herself to dying, letting herself fall into a depressed state that not even her parents can pull her out of.

Eve closes herself off completely, refusing to let any one in, including Adam, a perfect stranger who suddenly comes into her life at the worst possible time. She pushes him away, refusing to let anyone get close to her, but what she doesn't know is that Adam isn't one to give up easily. And slowly but surely Adam gains Eve's trust, and crumbles down the walls she's built around herself, exposing Eve for who she really is...a sweet, vulnerable girl who only dreams of falling in love.

Despite letting her walls down, Eve is reluctant to open up to Adam, afraid of getting hurt or possibly hurting him in the process with her secret battle against cancer that she refuses to let him or anyone know about.

Will Adam be able to prove to Eve that he genuinely cares about her before it's too late?

@27Melons Yup. I hope you don't see it as a bad thing, because I know in real life it would probably be very unlikely for a relationship between two people to develop so quickly, but that's the great thing about stories. The impossible is possible, which I absolutely love. :)

@goodgirl388 He did. And the optimist in me needed to write this, because I always like looking on the bright side of things, even when it comes to things like cancer. I truly hope you like this story, because it's honestly one of my favorites. :)

@goodgirl388 It is. I lost a good friend to cancer, which was really hard on me, but I wanted to write a story of hope where things get better, so this is the result, and I'm considering writing another one later.
