Meant To Be?
Aisha Al Qamar
Twenty two years old, rich, medical student, smart, beautiful, famous, Saudi. All her life she's known money and wealth. Her father is a prominent and rich business man. Her mother is an author known throughout America. She gets everything she wants, and nobody can tell her no. To her, the dunya (temporary world), was everything.
Abdullah Al Hakeem
Twenty three, smart, kind, caring. All his life he's known abuse and hardship growing up as an orphan in the foster care system. When he finally gets his dream of going to a medical school, his life is finally fitting the dream he had laid out in his early years. To him, the akhira (eternity after life in heaven or hell), was everything.
Twenty five, caring, loving, respectful. All his life, he had never been able to express the kind of person he felt he was. When his father retires, Uthman takes over the business, but something is missing in his life- love. To him, love was his most prized dream.
When their paths cross, all of them wonder the same thing: Was it meant to be?
There is some language, just a warning, also violence later in the story. I won't set it to mature content, but I just thought I'd let you guys know that there is some stuff, but it's not too much.
Trying out in the Wattys, because why not?
