||NUMBER THREE IN VAMPIRE HUNTERS||
Suddenly it hits me.
I'm never going to see him again. I'm never going to hear his voice again. I'll never smell his cedar, vanilla, and cinnamon smell again. I'm never walking down the aisle in a white dress. I'll never find love again because he's gone.
He's gone and never coming back.
I bump into the edge of the bed before I realize I was moving. David catches me before I fall down, moving with breathtaking speed and grace.
"What am I now?" I ask him. "What are you?"
I answer my question before the words fully exit my mouth.
Jess Raven finds herself in an interesting position. She is mauled by a bear, then passes out from the pain.
When she wakes up, there is a young man tending to her wounds, but he is no ordinary man. He looks like an angel, with pale skin, and glowing red eyes. She is dying, and he offers to help her, by biting her on the neck and giving her something red and metallic tasting to drink.
Her imminent problem becomes solved, but later, there is another problem - the hunters. They will kill her, and the rest of her family because of what she becomes. She can fight against them, but eventually, she will lose something- or someone that she really cares about.
Warning for young children, and those that are easily disturbed.
There some mild violence and gore (Not too descriptive) starting in chapter 16, and torture starting in chapter 20, but it is no worse than in The Hunger Games Trilogy.
Do not read if you cannot handle it.
