Valerie Rose was widely known at the Salvatore Boarding school as the daughter of Ophelia Rose, everyone's favorite teacher at the supernatural school for all different reasons, one of them being that she understood each and every one of them since she was all three primal species; part witch, part werewolf, part vampire.

 Valerie had always been known as her daughter, but it also came with an advantage; She was extremely popular, loved by many, feared by most, and she was the only one besides her mother who seemed to be able to get through Hope Mikaelson's tough exterior. After all, Hope's mother and Ophelia raised the two of them side by side, causing them to grow up to be best friends.
