Maryam was afraid of how he made her feel. The reality of her circumstances. She had never been this emotionally raw, weak as she was with Mubarak, she physically felt safe in his presence. She had never felt safe in the presence of a man like she did with him.
That was not on her agenda. She wasn't supposed to be feeling all the things she felt now, but they were there. That was the last thing she wanted.
She could sense his resistance, she had never seen a man so intent on not liking her as he. The rest just ignored her, him? He saw her but it felt as if he didn't want to.
And here she was all intent on Becoming Mrs Bugaje.

What would he say to Maryam? This would devastate her beyond all measures. His hands travelled to hold his nape, squeezing the thick muscle there, he had never felt so worthless all his life like he did now.
A graceful light-eyed girl who brightened a crowd with her mere presence, a girl with the heart of gold, his young gazelle.
He had her right where he wanted, loving him like no other, despite him being reckless, nonchalant, a liar by omission and a rogue she still loved him whole. Her love made him so full that despite giving her his all he was still left with excess from her. This was the woman he would inevitably lose because of his recklessness. She would face the pain.
A pain of Becoming Mrs Bugaje.
He had vowed to protect her from herself. Yet he had pushed her over. He had vowed to make her see what people had done to her, she taught him forgiveness. Under all that crazy bubbly mouthiness, was his angelic queen, compassionate, loving- a jewel. Yet he ruined her.

Now her ruin was his ruin, he had carried his pain long, hard and deep in his heart. She was a pain he was willing to live through life with. Her voice what he lived for. Her smile his home.

Marriage is intended to be an eternal bond filled with love and happiness. This was far from the truth for Asmaira and Amaan. Two broken souls entangle in the game of destiny which ended their dream of everlasting love. For one, it was a journey of regret which she has to live for the rest of her life. But why?. For other, he was forced yet he promised to seek revenge for sure., for seeking "Her" place. Who is Amaan referring to as "Her"? Who is this "loved ones" that connects both Asmara and Amaan and why do they hate each other so much without even meeting each other? "Please......." the only word that she could manage to say while trying to get out of his grip and sobbing. "Please......Let..........Me..........Go, " she stammered in between her hiccup, shaking her head with pleading eyes and folded hands. "Don't be afraid honey! I realized my mistake of not accepting you as my wife and to mark the start of our marriage how about I gift you something, " He whispered while leaning close to her ear emphasizing on the word 'gift'. Sensing her fright, he placed his hand on her waist while using the other to stroke her cheek, "how about giving you a baby tonight?". He spoke with an evil smirk. " I know it is your first time and I promise to be gentle with you, My Wife" Note: This is the first draft of the story and since then had not been edited as I'm busy writing my other stories on "Booknet." If you find typos or grammatical mistake or narration is not perfect, kindly ignore since your feedback about it would be of no use as you are reading an unedited story. I would edit it once the sequel to Kabir Hashmi is finished. And yes please be considerate when you comment. First, it's a fictional story and second, it's someone's hardwork. #5 in torment-Sept 2020 #2 in torment-23rd Sept 2020

Muhammad thought of Madeenah as a child, younger than his baby sister, although way more mature. She seemed to have created a bond with his daughter and that was all that came to his mind about her. Not her smooth caramel skin, or her captivating light brown eyes and neither did her sweet voice do it for him. Madeenah thought of Ya Muhammad as an arrogant and stoic person but a really good father. In truth she was terrified of him. She hated the way he would look at her, as though she was less important than him. She hated the way he never spoke unless he needed to. She hated the way his voice washed over her, making her shiver. She hated his height and how it made him tower over her small frame. She hated him but she just couldn't stop thinking about him. So what happens when the two end up being brought together by an unusual arrangement . He's older, she's younger. He has a daughter and she has barely begun life. Will he let go of the past and try to find happiness or will he drag her down with him? --------------------------------------- "Let's get married." He says with such a straight face that I feel stupid as I chuckle. "What did you just say?" I ask in disbelief. "You heard me Madeenah." He says in a gravelly tone. "Why would you want to marry me?" I shake my head. "You don't like me." "I like you well enough to be married to you." His broad shoulders shrug in his familiar black suit. What is going on with him? And what have I gotten myself into?

Maryam never had a say. Although her situation wasn't her fault, people never fail to rub it in her face. If she was a child out of wedlock, she wouldn't have been sad. Atleast she'd be paying for her parent's sin. If she was an Almajira, she'd still lift her head up high and accept what ever the world threw at her, atleast she would still be paying for her parent's sin for throwing her out into the streets. If she was a prostitute, Heck! she'd stand proud and tall, atleast it was her decision to sell her body to men. But, she was neither one of this things. She had lost her father, a day before she was born. Her mother got married to someone else a week later! That marriage came with a whole lot of burden. A burden she was subjected to by her gullible mother. A burden she had no choice but to embrace.
