Selene is a college freshman who lives in Portland. She's always been smart. Always. Until she meets a successful, charming, and humorous man at a greasy bar. As she quickly learns more about his obsessive behavior, she realizes she may be in too deep. Will she ever escape his possessive hold on her? ~ ~ ~ He was the type of guy you dreamed of meeting at a greasy, dimly-lit bar on a Thursday night. He'd be the one to order a glass of Casa Noble Crystal tequila on the rocks and sip it once every minute. He was wearing, of course, a denim jean jacket and an urban-looking pair of black pants and a grey shirt. He looked about 23 maybe 26, almost caramel skin and dark, neat hair. I realized I had been staring a little bit too long when he raised his drink from the table to about nose height in a "cheers" motion, which I reciprocated, caught off-guard. He smiled and we both took a sip. I looked down once again, embarrassed. He sat down across from me in the booth. I looked up in a bit of shock, not expecting him to approach me. I slowly took my AirPods out. "Hello, beautiful."
