Changing Them Back
Liam Payne was my best friend. We were best friends for three years. Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect. We were eighteen when all that changed. Right after high school, he moved to America, leaving me in Wolverhampton overnight. I was too in love with him to let him go that easy. He was only gone for three months before I found him. But when I did find him, he had changed so much. * "Liam?" I called out as I saw him by a punching bag. The gym was empty, only him and I were in there. His music was blasting some rock song and he didn't hear me. "Liam!" I said louder. I could he sighed as he turned his music off. He turned around and once he saw me, his mouth fell open. "Corey? Is that you?" he asked. "Yeah. Yeah, it's me," I said breathlessly. He walked over to me and hugged me. "What are you doing here?" he whispered into my hair. "I came to see you. You left me, Liam." "I left you because I had too," he suddenly became furious. "Why?" "It's none of your business. Now." He backed away from me and looked down. "Leave. I can't see you anymore."
