Miram's Uncle is in the service of Union of States, most of his job is secret. Miram longs to follow her uncle on one of his adventures. See what happens when they go in search of a Mummy! (Each chapter will be a new adventure!)
I have to admit when I first heard of the genre Steampunk I had no idea what people were talking about. However, I soon learned that I had read this genre, I just didn’t know (as usual) the technical term.

This story is a time travel adventure full of little hints of future plots that I’m sure the writer has in her subconscious. It’s an introduction to a young woman who, I hope, is going on many more journeys into the unknown much like one of my favourite old British TV shows ‘Catweasel’ who went to the future and got many things mixed up along the way. I can see Miram calling the telephone a ‘telling bone’ too.

I have enjoyed my sojourn with Miram and her uncle. I hope to read more of her adventures, wherever she goes.
