A tight grip is at my throat, sharp nails digging into my skin, threatening to draw blood at any given moment.
"Don't even think I won't snap that pretty neck of yours and drain the life out of you." His hoarse voice hisses into my left ear, his teeth grazing against my earlobe before trailing down to my collar bone. His breathing was heavy, now turning uneven and rigid.
"And don't think I won't bite you." I respond back to him, playing fire with fire. I was always known to never hold my tongue.
His cold, velvet eyes came to look up at her before standing up still, changing the iris to a hazel. He now smirks in response before picking up my chin with his index and thumb. His voice is laced with ice, almost making me shiver when he says, "Bite me, Alpha."
Long before Cassandra was born, or even Lucian, a treaty was signed to keep their two kinds apart.
