WATTPAD FEATURED

A mutant child escapes the testing facility at Alkali Lake. Decades later, she returns with a lifetime on her shoulders seeking closure, only to reunite with the man who helped her escape.

Plagued by painful flashbacks of her turbulent past, and far older than she appears, she distracts herself by expanding her mutant abilities and erasing the person she once was. With the help of some unique mentors, she'll rebuild herself from the ground up in a world about to be changed forever.

An X-Men & Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover fan fiction (w/ a dash of Doctor Who). X-Men content from the films 'X-Men: The Movie' and 'X2: X-Men United' ONLY -- except Jean Grey survives the events of X2. The characters of Ace, Matt, and Vince are of my own creation and not from any licensed fandom. Therefore DO NOT use them in any of your own works without first consulting me.

NOTE: Dashes '---' mean the POV has changed. This story is edited often. Formatting errors I have little control over as they are usually caused by Wattpad.

  Please enjoy.

Don't know why I didn't notice before, but in reading this again, the paragraph she removes his helmet. You have two separate lines about it falling and rolling into the puddle. When she first removes it, and again after they look at each other. Should be one and done.

This is basically the best fic I've ever read. It's got everything to keep me hooked, and the writing is friggin FANTASTIC [also, no typos or horrible grammar, so bonus points]. Love. It.
