Hey everyone, I'm a published author, and this novel, FEARSOME DREAMER, is currently available to buy as a paperback or ebook from pretty much any retailer:

The sequel, THE ILLUSIONISTS, has just been published! YAY. Check it out:

I hope you like what you read - if you do, a vote or a comment would be very much appreciated!

"One of the most seductive and exciting fantasy worlds I've encountered... I devoured it." - Matt Haig, author of THE HUMANS and ECHO BOY

"A truly phenomenal debut... the world is created with such beauty and complexity - I loved getting lost in it" - FICTION FASCINATION

"If you mixed Pride & Prejudice with The Black Magician Trilogy, threw in some sci-fi, a bit of alternative history, and gave the whole thing a seductive, almost surreal quality, you wouldn't have a book *quite* as good as Fearsome Dreamer, but you'd be close." - THE CAIT FILES

I like the idea that no humans are above or below, however, Fern says it in a way that disregards cultures of other places saying every place is the same, and that isn't true.

The part that brings up shed laugh in her face for believing that gods were worth anything more than a good story brings me to conclusion maybe the character identifies as non religious

I really like how Fern's speech is written, I can almost hear her accent.

Country people (especially practical ones) keep rabbits. With their high birth rates they are an economical meat source. I don't have the heart to kill the sweet creatures, but I have friends who raise and slaughter 20 a year. They taste exactly like chicken.
