Book four in the series of A Vampires Life brings you Josephine. She has been disowned by her parents for moving to the city with her boyfriend and funding his life by working as a stripper. After very bad news from the doctor Josephine returns home to her boyfriend in bed with another woman. As she flees the apartment and her adulterous boyfriend Josephine runs into a handsome man who offers to buy her a drink so that she can drown her sorrows. Ethan is more than just a handsome man, he is a vampire. He looks upon Josephine as a potential meal but as time slowly passes he can see something more in her. Ethan takes her in to care for her but in doing so reveals something about her that she didn't know. The world of dark beings had been looking for her, looking for the one that had been sent by their maker. As the world of the vampires darken, Josephine's life is put on hold to protect a secret. One little secret that will change the world of the vampires forever.
