Ivy Dillaway is a sixteen years old girl, who has spent every day for the last seven years wishing her brother would turn at her doorstep and ask her to come with her. One day he gets a note to her, asking her to meet him that happens to be on the last day of her education, that day she leaves the city she fears and follows her brother into the world of the unknown.
