Warlord-turned-barista Min Seonshin was blood bound to Jeolla Province during the Joseon Dynasty. He was born a good aristocrat, an advisor to the king, but an unholy sacrifice turned Min Seonshin into an immortal evil.
The Japanese occupation came and went.
These days, Min Seonshin has traded magic rituals and power plays for ginseng tea and latte art. He runs the historic Teum Cafe in Jeolla-do, and he leads a quiet, simple life.
Or so it seems to most.
But those with eyes that see call him the Prince of Shadows, for he has slipped through time all-powerful and unseen. They say his power is as endless as his cruelty, and they watch and wait for him to stir the dark magic within him once again.
Then one day, change stumbles into his cafe in the form of the young, quick-witted Mira Vice--
the first domino drop.
After that, murder and mystery begin to unfold around Mira Vice, drawing in her foreign friends, her Korean co-workers, a local police detective, a pre-med student, and one of Mira's favorite fifth-grade boys.
The Prince of Shadows and his dark history hold the key.
But what happens when Mira Vice begins to hold the fate of his soulless-heart?
Monsters: goblins, witches, were-people, etc.
Gore and some thematic violence
Maybe some time travel
