Bitten (The Wolves of Mani Academy)
The Mani Academies were created to train and prepare each young werewolf for the world.
On the year of her sixteenth birthday, Jenn was bitten by the Fenrir wolf, one of the wolves of the goddess Mani, who is tasked to bite young teenagers on the year of their sixteenth birthday, turning them into werewolves. Once bitten, her life was changed forever.
Since a regular human school was not equipped to deal with the phenomenon of training young werewolf teenagers, the Mani Academies were created in order to train and prepare each youth for the world. Controlling the change at every full moon, and sorting out the confusion of a complete displacement with normality are essential with surviving in a primarily human world.
But even with super strength, reflexes to die for, and new friends, Jenn soon realizes it's not all it's chalked up to be. There's a shadow looming over the school, and students start to die at an alarming rate. Somewhere, someone is hiding something that stalks her friends in the night, and Jenn sets out to find this thing and stop it.
Not letting this discourage her is easier said than done. Dealing with a whole new world is challenging enough without having to relearn everything taught to her in school.
Who ever knew werewolf 101 could be such a drag?
