Israel's King David had a beautiful daughter Tamar. Her life was ruined when a half-brother raped her. Although avenged by her brother Absalom, she got no justice. At least here Tamar shares fulfilling love, but I hope Providence was kinder to her.
When she could rejoices for Jesse victory, sadness crept over Tamar, coz of her mother death...
what a beautiful cover you have chosen for this story...I love this story and the beautiful friendship between Jesse and Tamar...
What what !!! I am currently in the midst of a bible challenge and just completed 2nd Samuel and the story of Tamar is one that stuck out to me. I am so excited to read this.
Okay so I have not read this yet but when I saw the name of this book I had to post a comment and fan! I have a lot of knowledge of the Bible and this story is one of the ones I am very familiar with. I plan on reading this book and from the description I can already tell I am going to love it.:)
@Leopardstar Thank you. I feel like a guy falling love with the Mona Lisa. At best I have worked within the Biblical story to make the plot plausible. I hope her life was fulfilling.
This is really good so far. I'm looking forward to reading the whole thing.
