In His Command
In the heart of a forest, a mansion tested over time could be found. Long ago, it was said that a Prince had resided there, together with his ten loyal servants. History had it, that after winning a combat against his kingdom’s greatest enemy, he fell into a deep slumber. His servants waited, waited and waited, for the day to come that he would rise again. They waited for months, years, decades and centuries, until they had lost count. It came to the point that they hadn’t left their master’s room at all, until they fell out of consciousness and followed him to wherever he was.
Thousands and thousands of years had gone by. Yet again, the Prince and his servants’ story had passed on to every generation. The mansion was locked from the inside by an unknown force, not letting anyone invade the territory. But it was believed that if one got near and listened intently…
Voices could be heard.
Laughter and joyous conversations echoed.
Shadows were marked.
Sets of eyes were seeing. Watching. Observing.
