Vines and Lilies - Completed
She was back in the Palazzo. A soft scented breeze blew in her hair as she listened to the laughter of her twins who were running in the bushes of roses, and there she saw him, standing on the balcony, watching her with his smiling blue eyes, his kind and dear blue eyes.
She couldn't reach him, couldn't call him, she had lost her voice.
Then suddenly, it started to get dark. The wind stormed in the roses, pulling them out, drying them to nothing but stems and thorns. There were dry roses in the air, raining on her hands, red, blood roses, falling at her feet.
She started to scream, a voiceless scream that no one could hear.
And it was dark everywhere, dark, cold, and quiet.
Just another dream, she thought. It had to be another dream.
