Monroe Foster must untangle the origin of FLITE, a hallucinogenic drug, in order to figure out if her best friend, JJ, had anything to do with the dead girl in Drexel 210.
FLITE, a new hallucinogenic drug, appeared out of nowhere on Westlake University's campus. They say a good trip transports you to adult Disneyland. A bad trip leaves you vomiting in the hospital, or standing over a dead body you don't remember killing.
When another body is found and Monroe's best friend, JJ, disappears, Monroe takes it upon herself to figure out where JJ was, what he was doing, and whether or not he had anything to do with the dead girl in Drexel 210. She finds an unlikely (and begrudging) ally in Dante Álvarez, the last person to see JJ on campus, and knows that the drug is the key to finding him. But as Monroe and Dante search deeper into the heart of the darker side of college, they realize they might just have it backwards, and JJ's ties to FLITE are closer than anyone ever expected.
