"Katie Holt? Like the Holt family that's up at Kerberos right now?" Lance asked Hunk.
"Yup! That Holt family." A girl replied, popping up around Lance and scaring him enough to make him jump. "You can both call me Pidge though. It's what my brother calls me."
"Oh man, this so cool! You're our tech expert! Your family is like, legendary. Have you met Shiro?" Lance asked, trying his damndest to act cool even though he was totally freaking out on the inside. Pidge rolls her eyes.
"Oh yeah, tons of times. He's lame."
"What! No he can't be." Lance complained, making Hunk and Pidge laugh.
"I'm kidding. He's pretty cool yeah."

"I'm Aurora, nice to meet you." Keith shakes her hand, pursing his lips. "Want to go find our engineer and do some bonding exercises!" She asks, her eyes sparkling, a smile wide on her face.
"Uhh What?" Aurora leans in and whispers.
"Want to find Parker and smoke marijuana up on the roof?" Keith laughed a bit nervously.
"You're insane."
"I know, but come on!" Aurora grabs his hand and drags him past Lance, Hunk, and Pidge who are all talking animatedly about how this school year is going to play out but as the two of them pass, Lance notices them and his heart skips a beat.

It's been years since the universe had seen the great Paladins of Voltron in battle. Years since those paladins have seen the lions. The universe was saved, so the lions left. Until now. The paladins are older now, and each have their own families. Hunk and Shay decided to settle down, and had a son named Erik. He looked a lot like Hunk, but was very Bulmeran. Shiro met an alien named Hel while on a special mission. The two fell in love and had a baby boy named Kade. Kade had black messy hair, and dark skin like Hel. Pidge didn't end up having any kids, but Matt on the other hand had a daughter named Evelyn. Evelyn was a lot like the siblings, with the same Gunderson charm. Lance settled down with Allura, and had a daughter named Isla. Isla looked very much like Allura, but with Lances brown hair and a strange condition with her skin tone. She ended up with a very light skin tone, due to a strange Altean occurrence. When no Altean father is present, the child takes the skin tone of the closest Altean male. Since that was Coran, Isla ended up with lighter skin, but Lance and Allura had no problems with it. Some time after Allura had passed away, Lance and Keith realized they had feelings for each other. They soon adopted a daughter named Abbey. Abbey had been through a lot regarding families, so she wasn't fond of siblings. Soon enough though, her and Isla became great friends. Even though Pidge had no children, all the kids thought of her as the cool aunt. They were all friends, and hung out quite often. This is the story of the Voltron Descendants. (This is a story me and my friends are writing. The new characters are OC's of ours, and we wanted to do something with them. In this universe, Allura made it past the final battle, but passed away when Isla was young.
