The night after Christmas, 1811, an raging fire spread throughout a packed theatre killing dozens including small children. The beloved actress Eliza Poe had died only 2 weeks before. Had she not, 3 year old Edgar Allan Poe would likely have been among the damned.

Read an excerpt from Evermore: The Young Poe Chronicles which describes that fateful night through 14 year old Edgar's morbid imagination.

...Hah, I'm assuming this won't be continued. I will just crawl in a corner now and cry, "why".

This is an impeccable narrative! His voice feels real, the entire description of the theatre fire and the entire conversation amongst the boys! Truly enjoyed this foray into your works. Looking forward to reading more. Starred. :)

Very cool trailer! Maybe you want to include some of these details in your book cover blurb (?)

Thank you. Its most horrifying to know that this is a realistic description of that night. Why no one's written a book or movie is beyond me. And BTW it IS true that Edgar Allan Poe (aged 3) would likely have died that night. Think of how THAT would have changed things. Talk about Alt History!
