With Robyn finally defeated and Damien saved, Emylin is finally taking a much-earned break. At the insistence of the Fae Queens, Emylin tries to pick up the pieces of her life before she was taken to the Underworld for her protection.

She juggles her responsibilities as Queen of the Underworld (while Damien's magic recuperates) and her college workload all while battling her feelings for Julian, whom she seems to fall for even more every time she sees him.

Emmy seems to have found a sort of balance until an attempt is made on her life.

With only one small clue, Julian takes Emmy to Elysium, her true home, the home of the now extinct Light Fae to try to make sense of any of it.

And, maybe even find who wants to finally finish the job Robyn started.

Without the bargain, mortals stand to lose all that they have accomplished and without a mortal child, the Fae will destroy everything that humans hold dear.
