A Deal With The Fallen (#2)
Reagan Vanderhill has been living in Yorkville, New York, for two years after her interesting, exhilarating high school days. She hasn't changed much; except for the fact that she has grown up faster than she ever thought she would. The normal life she craved for after the death of Zach Riley has finally been given to her, with hard work and determination, and the new love of her life, Christian Cormic.
Everything was fine. Everything was normal.
Until one day she receives an anonomous package. Inside of it is Zach Riley's leather jacket, with a note reading:
"When the devil dies he goes to hell, but nothing is stopping another one from crawling out."
Soon after she begins receiving terrifying letters and messages. They aren't threatening her, but instead, trying to to warn her. They tell her to trust no one, to stop getting close to people because without knowing it, we always keep our friends close, but our enemies closer. They know us better than we know ourselves, and that might just get us killed.
The dangerous life Reagan was tried to leave was now only beginning.
Would someone actually hurt her?
Is there anyone she can trust?
Who will protect her now?
What Reagan doesn't know is that once you make a deal with the devil, there is no going back. Luckily for her, the devil isn't who she thinks he is, and she's safer than it seems.
"I said that I would always protect you. And I will."
Keep reading to continue Reagan's journey with her.
