My Gym Trainer is my Bad Boy Neighbour
When Mom said that my life was about to be changed forever, I really didn't think that she meant it so literally.
Rosella Allen thought that life didn't get much more simpler than just Netflix and Chill, right? I mean, when your parents are out of town for 90% of the year on business, and you have more money than friends, really, what else is a girl supposed to do?
But she knew that given a chance, she would do ANYTHING to get even an ounce of her parent's attention. So when her mother tells her that she is to be engaged to Manhattan's richest bachelor because it was the traditional Allen custom and suddenly starts taking interest in her 17 year-old daughter's life, Rosella is resigned yet thrilled.
The only problem was, she had to get super-model thin, as these were the supposed 'Allen standards'. Having no choice but to workout to please her parents, she meets Ryder Smith, aka her gym trainer, aka Mr. Grumpy, aka the school's resident Bad Boy.
What ensues is a journey that will make you want to hurl your phone on the wall, screaming in delight and frustration as Rosella navigates through senior year, the hallways of love and janitor closets filled with everything that has her questioning - who is really worth trying to please - her parents OR herself?
