AU. Discontinued as of November 2020.

Deviations from canon (as of May 1, 2018):
-Luke's appearance is slightly older. 
-Anakin is alive. (Of course Anakin's alive.)
-Rey is a Skywalker.

Ben Solo (Kylo Ren)'s slaughter of the New Jedi Order still occurs due to Snoke's influence. Under guilt for his actions (which led to the death of many, including, in his assumption, the loss of his daughter), Luke Skywalker still goes into hiding on Ahch-To. However, this time, he's not alone.

And more than a decade after father and son's seclusion from the larger galaxy, Rey will find them.

As Luke disappears so does her chance to hone her powers and become a Jedi. Now apart of the Resistance, she reunites with her parents to find Luke and bring down the sinister First Order. She also meets the dashing pilot Poe Dameron, who makes her feel whole again. Will their budding romance ruin her dreams of becoming a Jedi? Will she be able save her brother from the clutches of Supreme Leader Snoke? *I do not own any of these characters. The story is one I've been working on after watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens - which if you haven't seen yet you definitely should... It's amazing! Ahsoka talked all night with Luke and Leia, telling them tales of the Clone Wars, with Commander Rex joining in to show his admiration of his lost general. What if they could go back and stop the Empire from ever happening? What if they could stop their father from decending into the dark side? What if they could prevent the destruction of the Jedi? What if they could stop the Emperor before he even started? Minor spoilers for Clone Wars, Rebels and possibly Mandalorian. I say minor because it's mostly just easter eggs here and there and the rest you're smart enough to figure out on your own. And if I owned Star Wars or the cover art for this fic, you would know about it.

Anakin's darkness started long ago. In the Clone Wars. But at what point did the Clone War trigger his darkness? Was it when his mother died? Was it when he lost his Padawan?
