Berengaria di Rossi By Di_Rossi Completed

England 1921. For fifty handicapped veterans left without home or job after WW1, the only person standing between them and utter destitution is Olivia Altringham.

Lacking sufficient funds and a support network, Olivia has managed to keep her veteran's programme running by sheer determination and force of personality. And at great personal cost to herself.

When a soldier she had an affair with during the war suddenly reappears in her life and mysterious events begin to unfold on her estate that threaten to unbalance the tentative calm she has so painstakingly created, Olivia realises that she must make drastic changes to her life and outlook. The times are rapidly changing and so must she -- or risk going under completely.
