Meet Dalisay, a young Alagar (shaman apprentice) bestowed with a gift to see visions, emotions and humanity of an individual through the eyes. This knowledge, helped her discover the healing properties of a dye-producing plant called pasaw, that made her famous throughout the land. But, without her guardian knowing it, destiny secretly unfolds the hidden story of her past, the root of her life from which her shining name was veiled and as she found it out, she fearlessly embark on a trip, with a dashing stranger on her side, to look not only for her origin but also for the One who assisted her to fame.
Set in the middle to late 16th century Philippines, where Namayan, oldest of the three famous city states in the heart of Luzon, flourish around the benevolent Pasig River, this novel focused on Dalisay's, or rightly, Pasay's journey to fame, her search for her origin and ultimately, discovering her true spiritual belief that earned her a spot in oral history as The Lady of the Stream (Ang Binibini ng Sapa).
