Meet Euan Eyett. She's the ... eh...well, there's no word for her. Smart, aces every class, extremely organized, unsentimental, a little strange and quite frankly, friendless. Not that she cares.
The word for Adson Whitskill is 'lone wolf'. He prowls the streets of London, looks like a pickpocket, is street-smart, intelligent, and behaves pretty weirdly. And he has a huge interest in psychology.
He was a normal twelve year old.
That is, until he fell out of a window and into a two and a half month coma.
After that, everything changed. Including his name.
He could solve a Rubik's cube in under 60 seconds, had a fascination with moving lights, would always stare at the floor, and draw geometric shapes and numbers literally all the time.
He also refused to be touched.
And he didn't speak.
And it's going to take an unsentimentalist with the motto of "feelings, shmeelings", a boy with an interest in the theory of mind, an annoying project, the class clown, a bunch of dangerous situations, a 'flamehead', and a mad crush to figure out what's going on inside the mind of Ted Eyett.
