The Search for Paradise
Bea has been expelled, again. She has decided that this time, this school will be different. She only has to remain here until she graduates, but will her sharp temper and quick tongue get the better of her? After having recently been cheated on, Bea is reluctant to open up to another boy. Will she find that special someone? Or will she learn that all guys are the same?
Meet Courtney, she’s never had a boyfriend. She’s turned down guy after guy because she’s been in love with the schools player, Alex, since she started high school. After learning that Alex is the downfall of men, she will go to extremes to stop her best friend, Bea, from suffering the same fate she suffered all those years. Will knowing everyone’s deepest secrets and desires work out? Or will Courtney just become stuck in the middle?
Alex, the school celebrity, the guy which every girl thinks they’ll be able to tame. He will only date a girl for a week, but he doesn’t cheat. He’s onto the new girl, Bea, like a hawk. She’s pretty, intelligent and, most importantly, she doesn't just throw herself into his arms. (You always want what you can't have, right!?) Does Alex genuinely like someone or is it all just for the thrill of the chase?
Adam Bennett. He’s had his share of girlfriends, but, as Alex’s best friend, that is only to be expected. He has never had a girlfriend who he really likes, and somehow he always seems to end up in bed with an ex. After Bea becomes his girlfriend, will she tear apart the friendship he and Alex have had for 8 years? Will he be able to keep his hands off other girls, or does ‘once a cheat, always a cheat’ apply here?
Ben Ellwood, he doesn't go to the same school as the others because of his incredible smarts. Does Ben like Bea too? Or is there something else still to be uncovered about this vague character?
